Claims

While we will do everything we can to ensure your furniture arrives safely and promptly, unfortunately damages can happen. We are very concerned that you receive the quality product you paid for and therefore will do what we can to make sure you are happy with your purchase and experience with Wholesale Furniture Brokers.

Upon delivery, be sure to inspect the packages for damage before the driver leaves and verify the number of boxes delivered with the delivery receipt. Once you sign for the boxes, you are indicating you accept the furniture, so be sure to note all damages on the receipt. If you do not note any damages on the delivery receipt, you are accepting the furniture “as is” and will be fully responsible for any replacements (including freight) or repair costs if the damages are transit related. Keep in mind that the packaging is there for protection, and just because the boxes are damaged does not mean the furniture inside is damaged. As such, we ask that you accept ALL boxes and note the damages on the delivery receipt, being as detailed and descriptive as possible. You do not need to open the boxes at this time, as the driver may not have time to wait. Upon opening the boxes, if any damage is discovered please keep the shipping carton and inner packaging.

Please inform us of any damage or defect to the contents within five (5) business days. Customers will be asked to photograph the damages or defects, and e-mail the pictures to Sales@GoWFB.com. Please understand that we do have a limited time frame that we can claim for damages with the freight company and supplier, so if these are not promptly and fully noted and reported, we may not be able to cover your replacements free of charge. In the event that a manufacturer's defect occurs, please submit photos and a clear description of the defect to Sales@GoWFB.com. We will work with the manufacturer to best remedy the situation.

We reserve the right to discount and/or replace any item(s) in question on a case by case scenario. Many defects and damages are very minor in nature and can be easily fixed by a professional furniture medic using the same quality control solutions conducted at the factory. In such cases, discounts are often issued for you to arrange the repairs at your own discretion.  If the defect cannot be fixed, replacement goods and/or parts will be issued as necessary. PLEASE NOTE: If you do not contact us within five days of delivery, your claim may become increasingly more difficult to resolve, as shipping companies and manufacturers have their own time restrictions on claims, which vary.  Any returns, repairs, or replacements after this time may be at the buyer's expense.
Please note that when replacements are sent out, the freight company may require salvage of damaged goods before your replacements have been delivered. If salvage is not required, Wholesale Furniture Brokers is not responsible for the disposal or donation of the damaged or defective items. In some cases, suppliers will require our customers to donate or destroy the defective piece prior to a replacement being sent. It is the customer’s responsibility to complete these steps when needed.

Due to variations in photography, monitors, and lighting, Wholesale Furniture Brokers cannot guarantee that the finish of the order will be exactly as pictured. Imperfections or variations in the grain, color, or sheen may occur naturally in wood as well the dying/tanning process of leather. As a result, these naturally occurring characteristics are not viewed as damages or defects.

Wholesale Furniture Brokers is not responsible for the furniture assembly, when this service level is requested.  Please contact these agents directly if you require licenses and insurance certificates for delivery. These delivery agents have the required certification to perform residential furniture delivery and assembly. As a result, you agree Wholesale Furniture Brokers will not be liable for any damages incurred to the premises, and any resulting legal action will be directed solely towards the delivery company.
