The Olive Green Oval Cedar Barrel Set of 4 by Shine Company are back-to-nature barrels that are great as planters or storage containers. Their classic, simple designs bring out the beauty of their natural cedar wood contruction. Made of premium, high quality yellow Cedar wood known for its natural resistance to moisture, decay, and insect damage. Cedar wood also has a beautiful grain and a knotty grade that adds warmth and charm to it.

All colored Shine Company products are painted with exterior oil based enamel paint which is water resistant for outdoor use.

How to Care for Your Wood Furniture

All Wood products need care to keep them looking good and to prevent premature weathering and deterioration.

It is recommended that you apply one coat of any good quality wood seal on unfinished cedar wood furniture the first year, and for our painted furniture apply one coat of polyuerthane annually for protections against weather, heat, and sunlight.

However, if you want to place painted furniture in direct sunlight or in excessive temperatures, apply 1 - 2 coats of polyurethane prior to use. It is highly suggested to put the painted Adirondack furniture on a porch, patio or in a shady area for longevity. Dust with a soft cloth, clean with water, soft brush and air dry.

As cedar wood ages naturally, its rustic character will be enhanced. Due to the nature of wood, surface cracking and slight color variations will occur. The wood and the product will remain structurally sound for years.
