Customer Service Representative

We are currently hiring for the position of Customer Service Representative.

Wholesale Furniture Brokers is an online furniture store which ships furniture directly from the manufacturer to customers across Canada and the United States. We started in Kamloops, BC Canada and have grown rapidly over the past 9 years. We have a enthusiastic team of over 30 employees who strive to provide the best service possible.

Customer Service Representative

Job Location: Kamloops, BC

Hours: Full Time

Days: Days, Evenings, Weekends

The primary role of this position will be to assist potential customers with their inquiries, and to process their orders once placed. The candidate will also be the first point of contact for current customers inquiring about their order.

Our ideal candidate will possess strong communication, organizational and time management skills.  Attention to detail and multitasking skills are also essential assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answering, handling, and forwarding calls and emails.
• Answering customer questions via our Live Chat, phone, or email.
• Liaising with suppliers, shipping companies, and customers
• Providing order updates to current customers.
• Placing purchase orders with vendors
• Submitting documentation to shipping companies and vendors
• Preparing and reviewing reports  
• Experience in working with 3rd party shipping / logistics industry is an asset but not required
  

Desired Skills & Knowledge:

• Customer service skills - Previous sales, service and/or reception experience will be considered an asset.
• Professional written and verbal skills.
• Typing 40+ words per minute.
• Microsoft Word
• Microsoft Excel
• Online credit card processing / PayPal.
• Internet Knowledge - Track orders, navigate websites, webmail

Special Working Conditions:

• Sitting for long periods of time.
• Working in front of the computer for long periods of time.

Compensation Note - The wage represents a starting point and successful candidates typically move up quickly based on regular performance reviews. Team based performance bonuses are also awarded. Medical and Dental benefits after 3 months.  Eligable for corporate profit sharing program after 6 months
