Game Table

As a poker fiend of sorts, I can't express how useful a felt top game table extender is for home games. There are a few felt top game tables like this by the Ohio Table Pad Company that could be used for poker, but this one gets my vote because it's low priced, and it doesn't have a spot for drinks and chips. Most game tables that offer spots for chips don't offer enough room - and even then, the uneven surface cuts into your chip shuffling space. Drinks - as at the casino - belong on side tables (or the floor if you're playing sans a table) - putting drinks anywhere near felt is asking for trouble and it also clutters the table surface... The only objects that belong on the table surface are chips and cards - maybe even some car keys. ;) Playing on a surface other than felt is not only undesirable because it doesn't "feel right" – but it's also undesirable because playing with higher quality (and extremely hard to mark) plastic cards is a hassle if you're playing on a hard surface such as your run-of-the-mill table. This table extender gives you a felt playing surface at an affordable price, can be used on the floor without a table, and is easily storable behind a bookcase or in a closet.
