Soho Platform Bed
A bed at this price that's not made of particle board, milk crates, or who-knows-what is pretty hard to find. I'm however somewhat impressed by this bed, as it features a sturdy construction, and the sort of durability that is essential for a frequent mover. Indeed - the modern platform bed is well suited to meet the needs of the frequently moving young professional. I'd like to underline how important the "14 Slat System" of this bed really is to me... some platform beds (and most cheaper platform beds) use a "panel" system that makes for bulkiness, and causes problems when moving or assembling - I've had my fingers caught more than a few times with these sort of "panel" platform beds during assembly. The slat system is lighter, and during assembly, you simply unroll the slats and you're all but ready to go. This being a platform bed, by its nature, it doesn't require a box-spring - less bulk, easier moving and storage! My finicky technical preferences aside - this bed is stylin'.
