Morgaine Charman - Bookkeeping Administrative Assistant

Having grown up in an artsy community where anything goes, I have developed a bit of a style that beats to a different drum. I like to keep a basis of earthy tones, but then throwing something funky in the mix that doesn't necessarily "go". I'll pick pieces that most people might overlook, and then make it my own by pairing it with something most would have never thought of. Somehow it all comes together and feels comfortable for me. I think everybody needs to figure out their own style.

Functionality is another big deciding factor when picking furniture, as well. If I'm not going to use it, then I don't need it. This is especially important when working with small spaces. Keep things to a minimum.

This platform bed set is great! It reminds me of bedroom furniture you might see during the 19th century. It's funky olde style furniture, yet with a clean look. Traditional Sofa - July 2007

Here's a perfect example of something that I would pick to contrast my other furniture. I would just pull the chair out of this set, and nothing else. With a pattern like this, it would make a great accent to a solid colored sofa. I spend most my time in the living room, so this chair has the functionality points. It is a big comfy chair with a deep seat that lets you curl up. There's no point buying a sofa set that looks great, but isn't comfortable. This chair does both. Read more »

After much fuss about the exact visual theme that this section of the site would use, we finally decided on this one. I sincerely hope that you will like it, however, I appreciate your criticism! More coming soon!
