The Chesapeake is not a platform bed so you do need to use a boxpsring with it.

Do you deliver to Bloomfield, New Jersey. What is the waranty on the furniture? Are the pieces wood and where are they made?

We deliever anywhere in the Contiential US. There is a 6 month warranty on manufacturer defects. The furniture is made of rubberwood and veneer and is made in Vietnam.

Does your furniture have: tongue and groove joints, corner block construction, french dovetail drawer construction, wood on wood drawer glide system, felted top drawers, smooth drawer sides and bottoms, dust-proofing on bottom drawers? Thanks you for any info you can provide.

Alpine Furniture, the manufacturer for this bedroom set, was able to tell me that this collection has corner block construction and a metal drawers glide system. The back panel is made of plywood, and the top of the case goods have MDF and Veneer. Thank you for your question.
