That is correct, the reversible chaise can be set up on either side, however you want to arrange it.

The overall dimensions of the Lodi Charcoal Sectional Sofa is 102"L x 66"D where the chaise sticks out.

Are the seats and backs permanently attached or are they attached with velcro?

Most of the sectionals by Urban Cali are attached to the back rest with velcro, however, I've contacted the manufacturer to be sure and I'll post the response when I get it, thank you for your question!

Does the chair's fabric match the sectional?

Though they are both very similar in color (the pictures don't show that so well) the fabrics are different. The sectional is made from a microfiber, while the chair is a waffle suede. Thank you for your question.

when you say "Chaise" does it attach to the sectional or is it free standing like a ottaman?

The chaise is delivered with the sectional, ready to assemble, when you recieve the pieces an assembly guide will show you how to attach the chaise to the 2 Seat Sofa portion. It will be attached, and not free standing.

Is the color charcoal actually grey or blue? On my computer it looks more blue.

Unfortunately, we don't have any of these in our store or warehouse so I can personally check the color, however, as far as we know these are a more grey charcoal color than blue. The lighting of the image along with different screen settings may give it a slightly blue tint on your screen.
